Tallahassee, FL: Florida Attorney General Charlie Crist, Florida Chief Financial Officer Tom Gallagher, and Florida Insurance Commissioner Kevin McCarty filed charges against the brokerage firm for allegedly accepting undisclosed contingent commissions. Brown & Brown has agreed to adhere to stricter compensation disclosure requirements and fully disclose all fees and commissions in the future.
