CP Environmental Named to Pennsylvania’s Top 100, Nation’s Top 500 Companies

PITTSBURGH, PA - CP Environmental Group Inc. (CPEG) was named as one of the “Top 100 Diversity-Owned Businesses in the state of Pennsylvania” (Div100) for the second consecutive year and as one of the “Top 500 Emerging Businesses in the US” for 2007 by DiversityBusiness.com.

The companies listed on the Div100 represent Pennsylvania’s top multicultural earners and challenge the long-held notion that a diversity-owned business is small or insignificant.

In recognition of the economic power of multicultural businesses, Div100 members are sought after by major corporations wishing to increase spending with qualified diversity-owned companies.

“We are honored to have been selected as one of Pennsylvania’s Top 100 diversity-owned businesses for the second consecutive year,” CPEG President Peggy Carpenter said.

The winning companies were honored at a special awards ceremony at DiversityBusiness.com’s “8thh Annual Multicultural Business Conference”, which took place April 23 -25, 2008 at the Disney's BoardWalk Resorts, Orlando, Florida.
